Credit where credit is due - small correction to ColdFusion Weekly

ColdFusion

If you are reading this blog, I would *hope* you that you are aware of the ColdFusion Weekly podcast, produced by Matt Woodward and Peter Farrell. They consistently put out very informative and entertaining "versions" (aka episodes), and really have their finger on the pulse of the ColdFusion development community. They have also been very kind to us in keeping tabs on our InstantSpot project and giving us the opportunity to share some of the things that we have going on. This brings me to the point of this post.

The long awaited first podcast of the 2007 was released yesterday, and they gave kind mention to a few of the things we have going on, including some new features, our free iPod Nano giveaway, and the announcement about the InstantSpot Design Exchange. They very graciously gave Aaron and I credit for creating ISDX and for its cool functionality of being able to preview your Spot from that site when browsing skins. The problem? We didn't do it!

ISDX was solely the work of Todd Sharp who most of my readers know from www.cfsilence.com. Todd has been watching our project from the beginning and as soon as we announced customizable CSS, he got on the ball with his ISDX project. In our discussions with him, he has many more features in the works, but what is already there is really impressive. While we have not actually done any of the work on that site, jointly we have some really cool ideas in the works for our sites working together in the near future. One of the most needed things in my opinion is the ability for a user to click an "import this design" button on any of the styles in his library, and automatically make that the active design for your Spot. I am sure that idea will be among several others from Todd that will be surfacing soon.

Thanks to Matt and Peter for the mention, and a big thanks to Todd Sharp for making such a cool complimentary site to go along with our project.
