Hi Dave,

Tbanks for posting the invites. I've been pokin' around InstantSpot (and your blog) for a while now. Too lazy to sign-up / request an invite, but if you're going to make it this easy, I'm sold!

(I took the last one, btw)

If it's possible, I'd be willing to give up my account to someone else. Obviously, I prefer to use a ColdFusion-based blog.

Ummm.... it is running on Adobe ColdFusion 8, using Mach-II, Coldspring, and made use of Brian Rinaldi's beautiful Illudium. Exactely how much more ColdFusion-ish do you want it to be adrocknaphobia???

@adrocknaphobia -
I cannot even believe how friggin' hypocritical you are coming across. You are for some reason accusing us of not being a ColdFusion-based blog (I guess because we don't have .cfm in our url path?), yet you maintain a profile on the PHP site (Ning is a PHP app): http://www.coldfusioncommunity.org/profile/Adrockn...

Even better, on that PHP site you answer the question "What do you like about Coldfusion?" with: "Making Ruby/.NET/PHP fanboys look stupid!"

dude...wow

Ummm, guys...I think you might have misunderstood Adam...I read it as he's looking for CF-powered blog elsewhere, not saying that InstantSpot isn't CF-powered.

But then, I could be wrong too.

Perhaps you are right Steve...

but to me the statement "Obviously, I prefer to use a ColdFusion-based blog." seems to be pretty pointedly implying that InstantSpot.com isn't running on ColdFusion.

That just compounds the "funny" when I consider how everybody (including Adam) has flocked to the coldfusioncommunity.org site when there isn't any cfml at all! Much less the Adobe branded cfml processor.

Don't get me wrong, I recognize PHP's prominence in the web application scripting arena so I am definitely not saying "Ning sucks!" or anything. But, you have to admit the irony is delicious. :)

My complete apologies. But last month you said this new version was running Railo2. Is that not the case?
