This is a Jeep I have been working on (and off and on and off and on) since I bought it as a stock CJ7 in 2000.  I took it down to the frame and rebuilt it from scratch, adding in a new 2001 GM Vortec 5.3/4L60E out of a 2001 Tahoe.

In 2005, I took the Jeep to Baertrax in Dallas to have them completely rebuild the suspension with Dana 60 front and Dana 70 rear axles from a Ford F350.  We went with some Ford F150 leaf springs in the front and a custom 4-link coil suspension in the rear.  Russ Baer did a killer job on it and I have nothing but praise for the work he did.

In early 2006 I added to my family with our 3rd child, so I am now casually looking at trading this Jeep for a built XJ.  If you have one and are possibly interested in a trade, let me know.

Here some semi-recent poor-light few driveway pics...
